Drive to Ronda

After some beautiful beach time in Marbella, we set off for the white-washed hillside town of Ronda.

Here are some photos of our drive through the Spanish countryside.

When we arrived in Ronda, some of the passengers started to feel a little nervous as we left the main road, left the paved road, and headed down a dirt road towards our hotel.

The hotel turned out to be a quite pleasant refuge in the middle of almost nowhere.

The hotel used to be an olive oil factory. It was surrounded by beautiful countryside, cherry trees (of which original Mr. W picked us a few), olive trees and all other sorts of plants.

We had a tasty dinner of pork and potatoes and fish.

The rest of the night we spent admiring the views and enjoying the silence. Oh, and the honesty bar, where you just get what you want and write it down. Very comfortable.
