Belated Before and Afters

A month since our last post? Really? That's a shame.

It's not for lack of having things to write about, that's for sure.

Here's some house progress in the widely accepted Before & After format.

"Ventahood be gone - Microwave Welcome"

"Completely Dysfunctional Closet made of 70's Wood planks - Completely Redone"

"Workbench Made by Father and Son"

(I don't have a before, but just assume empty space where there is now a rocking workbench.)

"Grillmaster"

(I also don't have a before of the grill because it came assembled - despite the variety of power tools Chris is showing off.)

A huge thank you to both our families for helping make all these improvements possible.

Not to be outdone by all the power tools and demo, I have been busy decorating the inside of the living room and kitchen. We're 3 pair of blinds and one mirror away from the living room being done and I'll be sure to add photos. Then it's on to the nursery and the master.

Oh, and I've also been growing people.

Here they are at their most recent appointment. Weighing in at 1.5 and 1.7 lbs. They doubled in weight in the last 3 weeks!

Baby A

Baby B

We found out the reason I feel Baby B so much more than A is that they are spooning each other, leaving B to kick my stomach, and A to kick B's back! They are active and healthy and we're already eager to meet them.

More soon.

  2. I love what you guys are doing to the house. It's looking great! And how about those babies! They are looking wonderful! Isn't it exciting when you can see profiles, hands, legs, feet, fingers, etc? Love it!
